Finding The Love Of God In A Hate Filled World

The world speaks about love quite easily now days with regards to immigrants and homosexuals, but when it comes to true love, the love of God that is, it is a rare gem to hear and much less to find. People of the world proclaim a false love that stems from the Antichrist that is full of hypocrisy and selfishness, while the love of God is full of joy, kindness, gentleness and peace. The difference between the two can be seen fully within a conversation with the world as the world speaks with anger and hatred, while the love of God within a Spirit filled Christian will speak with gentleness, but at the same time authority that comes from above.

“For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ But if you bite and devour one another, beware lest you be consumed by one another! I say then: Walk in the Spirit and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.” (Galatians 5:14-16 NKJV).

Another great difference between the love that the world portrays and the love of God is the fact that one follows a life after the flesh while the other follows a life after the Spirit. As Christians we find freedom within the grace of God working in our life and the blood of Christ cleansing us from all sin. The world sees this “freedom” as imprisonment and instead finds freedom through living as one wants to by following after whatever the heart desires and the eyes want. Paul explains the difference as he continues in Galatians chapter 5:

“For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law. Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.” (17-23).

Now that we have clarified the difference, where can we find such love? Only the Spirit can provide love and thus only a Christian and church filled with the Spirit can bear the fruit of true love, joy, peace and kindness. Without the Spirit we as humans are incapable of produce true love and will only fall back onto the false love of the world.

Recently I actually saw a commercial that showed the perfect representation of the love that the world portrays. When watching the video the message seems somewhat good on the surface as it presents no judgement and no barriers between people, which is what should be within a Spirit filled church provided that the church is walking and living within the word of God.

This message that the video portrays is a fleshly, worldly love that will unfortunately be the forefront of what the Antichrist and new world religion of the end times will represent. We must be careful and be filled with the Spirit of God to be able to discern and understand the difference between the true love of God and the abomination that the world tries to spread. The message of the world and new world religion will seem similar at times to the message of the word of God, but do not be fooled, they are much different and the truth shall be revealed at the return of Christ coming in the clouds.

Now I know I went a bit off topic, but I felt it necessary to fully reveal the difference between the love of God and the false love of the world. Unfortunately there will be many and are many today that are being fooled into believing the message of love that the world proclaims as good and right and the same as the message of the Bible. Let us walk and live in the Spirit and pray for discernment between the two. Let us be Spirit filled Christians that fellowship with one another in Spirit filled churches to stand against the hatred and persecution that the world and Antichrist are bringing us against us now and more so in the near future. God bless.
